I’m Trương Vy, and my journey with tattooing began in 2022. Before this, I worked at a spa in my hometown, balancing studies and work. By chance, I connected with my mentor through a social media platform, and he took me on as his apprentice. Now, I’ve had the privilege of learning and working as an artist at Torch Ink Tattoo, a place that has given me the opportunity to live and pursue my passion for tattoo art! I specialize in Fineline and Mini Color styles, where tattoos are crafted with meticulous care, from simple ink lines to intricate details. In the near future, I aim to grow and bring a fresh perspective to everyone through the beauty of simple yet meaningful tattoo art!
When I work with Fineline, I usually use extremely thin needles, sometimes just one, to create precise, delicate lines. I love how something so minimal can still tell a powerful story without relying on heavy shading. Fineline lets me focus on detail and subtlety, which really fits my style and personality as an artist.
I also really enjoy working with color. My Mini Color tattoos often feature soft, vibrant tones, nothing too bold, but just enough to make the artwork stand out. Playing with colors and composition brings each design to life, and I find that combining fine lines with carefully chosen hues creates something both gentle and expressive.
