I’m Vũ, but people often call me by the friendlier name ‘VictorVũ.’ I was introduced to the tattoo industry by a friend who worked in the F&B sector. Back in 2017, I was juggling my job while making time for about four hours a day to attend tattoo classes. Because I couldn’t manage both at the same time, I had to pause my tattoo training for a year. After that, I returned, continued to hone my skills, learned, and sought experience from other artists to pursue my career path. In 2020, I was fortunate to join and grow with Torch Ink Tattoo. I’ve explored many different styles, but the ones I’m passionate about and focus on are Realistic and Blackwork.
This is a little about my journey. I’m committed to giving my all to excel in the path I’ve chosen.
I’m drawn to Realistic tattoos because they challenge me to capture life as it is, every shadow, every highlight, every detail. Whether in black and gray or full color, I focus on creating lifelike imagery that feels like it could step right off the skin.
With Blackwork, I work purely with solid black ink, no grays, no half-measures. I love how bold and unapologetic this style is. From simple forms to intricate patterns, I focus on contrast and clarity to bring out the strongest visual impact.
